Based on the traditional "Winding Ways" pattern, this setting and color palette was inspired by a Marti Mitchell quilt featured in Quilter's World, April 2005. I expanded both the size and the color palette, and voila, after hand-piecing and some intense machine-quilting, and a try at some fancy edge-finishing around the scalloped border, this puppy was finished in 2009.
