Commissioned for a wedding gift, this wallhanging was inspired by painter Carmen Herrera's 1965 painting, "Rondo." Customer Melanie and I collaborated on giving a traditional look to a very graphic design. Fabrics were collected from both our collections to make a lovely gift for her niece's wedding. Hand and machine pieced, machine applique, machine quilting.
