Hankies and Doilies and Aprons, Oh My!

2016. 65" x 91".

Inspired both by a quilt viewed on Pinterest, and a basket full of heritage family textiles, I experimented with simple applique placements to showcase some of the lovely old pieces. The quilt didn't come together until sashings were applied after quilt-as-you-go machine quilting.
