Suiting Hayley to a 'T'

2016. 83" x 87".

Gotta do something with all those t-shirts collected by daughter Hayley from childhood through college. Instead of piecing the dozens of oddly-shaped t-shirt motifs, we fused them with stabilizer to a wholecloth background, then finished edges with framing strips that were fused and secured with zig-zag and buttonhole stitches. Machine quilted with a simple wavy grid.
